It was a glorious day here...full of sunshine and the promise of warm weather to come. And while my unfortunate husband had the mundane task of hanging a suspended ceiling in our basement...the girls and I played hard! Nothing like a good romp in the green grass to chase away the winter blues and put you in a good mood.

Hi, there! I found your blog from Angel's TaDa Creations blog. Your photos are amazing - you have the sweetest girls! Would you mind sharing what type of camera/lens you use? I'm in the process of upgrading and all the options out there are overwhelming.

Thanks so much Jessica! I'm so glad you stopped by! I use a Nikon D80 and love it...these were shot with a fixed 50mm lens. I did quite a bit of research before I got a camera and really love the Nikons :) I'm still learning a TON about using it as well as editing the photos but it is definitely a blast!

I have Photoshop Elements but I haven't taken the time to really get to the know the program. I'm sure it can do so much more than I use it for! I touched these up a bit in Picasa which is a free program through Google...it's great for a quick easy fix if the raw file is in good shape already!!!
